Amazon has created a new product for young adults called Amazon Teen. The program allows a teenager to order products, buy movies, and read recommendations for items on Amazon. After they order, their parent simply approves or disapproves the order.
The Wexley School for Girls in Seattle had an idea for a campaign of social ads that would do a great job reaching teens. They approached RIVAL to execute the ideas. We opted for young, off kilter character design, aligning with something a teen might enjoy on the Cartoon Network. The animations follow the same cadence: A sad horse wishes he was a unicorn. An Amazon delivery box gives him a unicorn onesie and then he explodes with a rainbow contrail and flies away into the sunset.
